Portable Tips

If you want to take full advantage of portability (take it on a USB for example) you should install DreamPower on the USB too.

๐Ÿ‘โ€๐Ÿ—จ For now it is not possible to make the settings file easily portable, so you must change the folder paths and preferences manually on each new computer where you take DreamTime.

If you want to take your preferences with you, you can do the following:

  • Open the DreamTime userData folder (On Windows: %appdata%/dreamtime)
  • Copy the settings.json file to the USB.
  • On the new computer you must start DreamTime at least once and then open the userData folder again.
  • Copy the settings.json file from your USB and paste it in the userData folder, replace the file.
  • Enjoy DreamTime with your preferences.

๐Ÿ‘โ€๐Ÿ—จ If the operating system assigns a different letter to the USB DreamTime will not be able to detect DreamPower and you will have to change the folder path.
